Privacy
How we look after your details.
Last updated 20 September 2026.
Upcott Studios is an independent publishing house. This page explains what we collect on this website, why we collect it, and how to reach us. It covers this site only — not Amazon, and not the other websites we publish, which carry their own notices.
Contact messages
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the subject you chose, and your message. We use those details only to reply. Form deliveries are handled by FormSubmit, then land in our inbox at [email protected]. We keep correspondence as long as the enquiry needs an answer, then delete it.
Visit count
The home page shows a simple count of visits. That count is a number, not a profile. We do not store your name, email or IP address with it. Your browser remembers, for the current tab session only, that a visit has already been counted, so refreshing the page does not add another one.
Cookies and advertising
We do not set marketing cookies of our own. Google AdSense may show advertisements on this site and set cookies to measure and personalise those ads. You can learn how Google uses data from partners at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage ad personalisation in your Google account. Share buttons open the network you choose; those services have their own policies.
Buying a book
Paperback, Kindle and audiobook editions are sold through Amazon. When you follow a buy link, you leave this site and Amazon’s privacy notice applies to any purchase.
Our other websites
The sites listed under The sites are separate publications. Each one is responsible for its own data practices. Follow the privacy notice on the site you are using.
Children
We publish children’s books, but this website is written for adults — readers, booksellers and the press. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
If you have sent us a message, you may ask to see it, correct it, or have it deleted. Write to [email protected]. We will update this page if our practices change.
